Day 21: Blank

Short, But Not Sweet

I hate to admit this, but today is a blank. No run, no fun adventure, no exciting dinner, just hotel to office to hotel. This is the only day where I will let this happen on this trip. But, I also need to accept reality, which is that tonight is a night in. There’s nothing like a pizza, glass of red wine, and Star Wars: Andor.

After dinner, I thought I’d treat myself to some dessert. Tonight: a bag of Haribo gummies. While I’m a big fan of Haribo, I was not a fan of these ones, Haribo Color-Rado. I think it was mostly licorice based, but there were some strange tasting gummies that reminded me a lot of Berty Bott’s Every Flavor Beans from Harry Potter — nothing tasted the way it looked, and the majority did not taste good. If someone told me they liked this type of Haribo, I would aggressively judge them.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought it, but now I know to avoid these like the plague. There’s a nearby Haribo Outlet Store. While Haribo doesn’t do tours, I think it’s the next best thing.

One more day to till the weekend!
